The Hills Residence is in Simpson Bay, a part of Sint Maarten where daily errands stay simple. Restaurants and bars are within easy reach, and so are supermarkets and the marinas. By car you get to Simpson Bay beach or Maho beach in a few minutes, and Princess Juliana International Airport is just as close.
Renting a car makes sense if you plan to see more of the island on your own timetable. Philipsburg and its boardwalk are on the Dutch side. Marigot and its beaches lie across on the French side. Our concierge can arrange the rental car for you.
Rooftop pool and parking at The Hills Residence
The swimming pool of The Hills Residence is up on the roof, and the lagoon spreads out below it. Sun loungers are placed around the water, which you can use every day from 8 am until 8 pm. The residence also has a common a lobby.
An elevator takes you up to the third floor, and a private parking area is there for your car. Outdoor cameras watch over the buildings. Beyond the residence itself, our concierge service can reserve restaurant tables and organise excursions across Sint Maarten.
Day-to-day life in condo A133
The bedroom is closed off from the living area and has a queen-size bed, a closet with hangers and blackout curtains. In the main room a sofa faces a flat-screen TV, with a dining table close by. The bathroom has a shower, while the toilet is in its own room.
A133 has no balcony. Daylight reaches the condo through the living room windows, which look towards the lagoon.
For meals, you have a hob with a hood above it, plus an oven and a microwave, while a dishwasher and a refrigerator complete the kitchen. You can make coffee with the espresso machine or use the kettle, the toaster and the blender. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are in place, along with wine glasses and champagne glasses.
The condo has air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi. A washer-dryer, an iron with its ironing board and a hair dryer are provided. Bed linen and bath towels are included, you also get beach towels plus the usual bathroom essentials, and for a baby we can add a cot and high chair on request.
The front door opens with an electronic lock, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed. Check-in starts at 4 pm and check-out is by 11 am. On arrival you are greeted by someone from our team, who remains available for the whole length of your stay.
Before you travel, we send directions to The Hills Residence and the details for entering the condo. If you book a week or more, a housekeeping visit can be arranged midway through, and extra towels are available whenever you need them. With the equipped kitchen and the washer-dryer, settling in for several weeks is straightforward.
