Getting around from the Simpson Bay hillside
The residence is built on a hillside above Simpson Bay. By car, you are a few minutes from the area’s restaurants and shops, as well as its marinas. Princess Juliana International Airport is very near, and Maho beach and Simpson Bay beach are both close.
A car is the sensible choice for a stay here because of the slope. It also opens up the rest of the island, from Philipsburg to Marigot and the beaches on the French side.
What The Hills Residence offers its guests
The swimming pool is on the rooftop and looks over the lagoon towards the hills. Sun loungers line its edge, and it opens every day from 8 am until 8 pm.
Private parking is available, and surveillance cameras are installed outside. Through the concierge service, you can arrange car hire, book a restaurant or set up excursions and activities. The team can be reached before and during your stay, and staff are present on site.
Staying in D421 day to day
The bedroom is separate from the living area. It has a king-size bed, a closet with hangers and curtains that keep the room dark. In the living area, a sofa sits opposite the flat-screen TV, and there is a table where you can eat. There is no balcony, and natural light comes in through the living room windows.
The kitchen comes with a hob under its extractor hood, plus an oven and a microwave, and the dishwasher stands alongside the refrigerator. An espresso machine, a kettle, a toaster and a blender cover breakfast. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided, along with wine glasses and champagne glasses.
Air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi are included, and a washer-dryer handles the laundry. Towels for the bathroom and for the beach are supplied with the bed linen, and you also get bathroom essentials, a hair dryer and an iron with its board. If you travel with a baby, ask for the cot and the high chair, which can be set up before you arrive.
Entry is through an electronic lock. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are fitted in the condo.
